Asia Tour No More?

With all the protesting there has been in Asia over the Born This Way Ball, it occured to us that maybe this means no more Lady Gaga in Asia in the future?

With the possibility of a cancelled show in Indonesia and threats towards the singer from a violent group in Manila, Gaga might be getting a bit risky if you ask us.

Think about it. How many artists happen to visit Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, etc. Not many!

For example, Madonna usually sticks to shows only in Japan when it comes to Asia.

We can see this leading to no more touring in Asia next time, with the exception of Japan and maybe Taiwan.

For now let's just hope all goes well for Mother Monster!

Lady Gaga will cancel Indonesia show due to protests

Not fair!

What seemed to be like one of the highest-anticipated, biggest sell-out show of the Asia tour will now have to be cancelled because anti-Gaga people who claim that Gaga's acts go against their religion are protesting to local promoters and around the stadium.

This is extremely sad for local fans because everybody knows, or at least should know, that Gaga's show is all about having a good time. It is a place where Gaga and her little monsters talk about love, freedom, equality, etc. and the last thing she'd every do is hate on something or someone or disrespect a religion or political view.

We've received some e-mails from sources claiming that the show will be cancelled for sure and that local promoters will make this announcement soon. However, knowing Gaga, she will do whatever she can for the show to go on.

Terry Richardson Releases Gaga Photos From Born This Way Ball In South Korea

Terry Richardson, the photographer that followed Lady Gaga for a few months back in 2010 to 2011 for an extraordinary book of Gaga touring with the Monster Ball, released 16 photos of Gaga backstage, in rehearsals, performing, etc. in Seoul, South Korea, for the first date of the Born This Way Ball. North American Tour Dates Rumors!

Even though the official announcement of the U.S. & Canada dates won't probably happen until later this summer, rumors have been circling the web and we've been receiving some interesting e-mails.

According to what we've received and read, the following are a big possibility:

•03/03: AT&T Park, San Francisco, California
•03/29: Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, New Jersey
•03/31: Yankee Stadium, New York City, New York

Hopefully this is true, and well, seems resonable. Can't wait for the tour dates!!

Photos: Lady Gaga Performs Second Show In Hong Kong

Lady Gaga performed the second of four shows in Hong Kong today at the AsiaWorld-Arena. We will be posting photos here throughout the day as well as writing about the show, so keep coming back for more! This is what we know about the show:

• Gaga's friend, Nicola Formichetti, was present at the Ball in Hong Kong today.
• The sound system actually worked during the beginning, giving Gaga a chance to actually be able to perform Highway Unicorn and Government Hooker, which were a disaster on the first show in Hong Kong.
• Lady Gaga did select some Little Monsters that were in the Monster Pit to meet after the show!

 

Lady Gaga Will Be Visiting South America This October, Secured Dates

Mother Monster will be visiting South America as soon as she finishes her European leg this October. Her team has secured dates in four countries and contracts are still under review with other promotions in two other countries.

Mexico, Chile, Argentina, & Colombia fans can get excited because dates at all four countries have been guranteed and signed. It is very likely that the star will be performing two dates at Foro Sol in Mexico City, one at the National Stadium in Chile, two at River Plate Stadium in Argentina, and one at the Medellin Stadium in Colombia.

The other two countries negotiating with Gaga's team are Brazil and Peru.

A formal announcement with official tour dates will come sometime this month. But Lady Gaga WILL be performing in South America before Madonna gets there.

Lady Gaga performed the first of four, sold-out shows at the AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong. We will be posting photos here throughout the day as well as writing about the show, so keep coming back for more!  It appears that some changes include:

• Highway Unicorn (Road To Love) was performed in its entirity with the arena lights on as Gaga walked across the Monster Pit on the unicorn.
• Gaga wore no pants during Government Hooker.
• Bloody Mary outfit changed slightly.
